About

The Instructors

Hi I’m Sarah

I became a driving instructor a few years ago- coming from a teaching background I moved from coaching children, to young adults on how to become safe, confident drivers. Being patient and having a calm manner are very important in my job as you can imagine! I’ve added a few skills along the way, I also facilitate Drink Driving rehabilitation courses in East Anglia and Essex. More recently I became a qualified fleet trainer, and also teach potential driving instructors the skills they need for the qualifying process of becoming an approved driving instructor.

Here at keentodrive we appreciate driving can be an anxious experience, so take away the worry of other vehicles, drivers and traffic, and come along toone of our off road driving days to perfect skills or learn something new.

We teach pupils that are extremely nervous about driving or starting from 14 years old to control the car, move off, stop and more- whichever experience your looking for we promise to make it enjoyable and fun!

Hi, I’m Nathan and I’ve been a driving instructor for 18 months now. I am patient, friendly and really enjoy my job and the rewards that my chosen profession offers. Before becoming a driving instructor I spent 5 years in the Royal Navy and then as a civilian became an engineer. In my spare time I coach football to kids from ages ranging 5- 15 years old, as well as being involved with adult football. We here at Keen To Drive, want our customers to have a driving experience, without the stress of dealing with other motorists on the British highways! We plan to make our lessons fun, light-hearted and most of all, wanting you to come back and have another go!

Hi I’m Pennie.
I have taken part in competitive motor sport, including motor-cross and hot-rods amongst other things.
Before becoming a driving instructor I coached Gymnastics for a total of 15 years, only stopping due to injuries. I worked in nursery, infant and high schools, both during and outside lesson times, I was one of the lead coaches and the club welfare officer at Easton Gymnastics Club near Norwich and I also had my own club, WayLanders Gymnastics Club in Watton. I coached people of varying ages, from as young as 3 to as old as 52. Since becoming a driving instructor I have attended numerous courses and  have completed a Diploma in Driver Education, BTEC Level 3 Award in Training and Education, Level 3 Certificate in Substance Misuse, First Aid at Work, Certificate in Behavioural Change, and have passed my Elite Driving Test and Fleet course, enabling me to assess full licence holders. I have always been Keen To Drive and feel that anyone that wants to start driving should have the opportunity, no matter their age or their anxiety level.
